Start out by looking online. Most good breeders will start posting things even before the pups are born, and again once they have been born. Check your local papers. Just remember there are tons of bad breeders out there. Be careful where you get your dogs from. And if you don't know the breeder, take the pup to the vet as soon as possible, and give all new puppy shots. Some breeders give there own shots to save money, but it isn't always what is best for your pup. Best of luck with finding that special pug.
