A little advice.....you might want to make your question a little more specific. There are a lot of different types of sales reps. For instance, I am a Verizon Wireless sales rep(retail sales), but I used to be a ';sales rep'; in a bank(financial sales). I have friends that are ';sales reps'; in pharmaceutical companies and manufacturing companies and chemical companies. Try Vault.com to research best companies for sales or try monster.com and look at some of the suggested career paths sales professionals have taken. I know this is a lot of info that doesn't directly answer your question, but seriously look at those sites to get really detailed info. Also, they like to dig and try to escape even the biggest, nicest backyard,,and if you make the same mistake I have,,they will dig on your carpet until you have small holes all over! they can be very expensive to maintain but they are great dogs and in my opinion they are worth it.

The puppies are shoved off to pet stores with no vaccinations, no worming, no socialization or handling... You are buying nothing but heartbreak at a price higher than what a responsible breeder charged for a pet puppy.

Nothing in life is free - even if you pick a dog up off the street or take it in when an owner dumps it on you, you still have to buy the dog supplies, food, medical care, etc. Dogs are not free, and dogs are not cheap.
PS - Stay away from 'free to good home' ads! More often than not, the dog is being given away for a reason (like expensive medical bills or a behavior problem.)

I have no idea what it is worth, but I do have a helpful tip. If anyone offers to buy this from you here, do not accept the offer until you have consulted a certified appraisal company of some type. I'm sure that someone will mention one that you can get some information from. Don't let anyone fool you. Also ,if I were you, as I am not, so take it or leave it, I would find out a price on it and wait about a month and see how much the price has gone up. You may have difficulty finding this but you can always make it. Start by going to Google Images and finding a suitable photo of the Beatles. Download the photo and enlarge it to say, 8.5 x 11. Then, go to a site that has the lyrics you are after and copy them right on top of the photo. Print this out with a color printer then take it to Office Depot, Staples or a print shop and have them enlarge it into a poster size that fits your need. Pretty cheap and custom made.

Having lithographs and serigraphs made of your best works is an excellent solution. You must find a lithographer who specializes in FINE ART lithographs. There is a difference, and you must pay for the true professional work. They have the same pride in reproducing your work and you do in originally creating it.
A lithograph reproduces 75 colors, and a serigraph does much more. Neither is an original.
If there are art shows in your area, take a display of several originals, and the lithographs of each of them, and a few others (warning: this is going to cost you a lot!) to the show. You will start building your reputation, and an income as well. In the meantime, if you really are good, look for some commercial sources that use that kind of thing to sell your work to, as well.
Do only limited editions, and personally sign and # them. Make too many, and the value goes down, make too few, and you don't make enough money. Talk to galleries for help with promotion, too. Find one that does work like yours, and they can really help you get off the ground.

Introduction
The mysterious Orient has given the Western World a multitude of dog breeds from rare Tibetan Mastiffs to popular Chow Chows, from silky Lhasa Apsos and Shih Tzus to loyal and courageous Akitas and Shiba Inus. The most endearing of these favors from the Far East may be the Pug Dog, a small, monkey-faced companion with the heart and soul of a canine many times its size.
Like most gifts from the Orient, the origin of the Pug is lost in the mists of ancient civilization. The breed is probably more than 1000 years old and was developed as a beloved companion of royalty from the same stock that produced the Pekingese.
Emperors of China's various dynasties from the Shang Dynasty 3000 years ago bred a variety of small dogs as companions. These dogs shared in the special attention accorded their courtly masters; they had their own attendants and rode in specially built carriages.
Apart from a stretch from 1368-1644 when cat breeding was the rage, the small dogs were favorites. By the end of the 17th Century, breeders produced ';sleeve dogs,'; dwarf specimens small enough to hitch a ride in the huge sleeves of royal garments. By this time, the Pug was distinctly different from the Pekingese and the Lion Dog. As Chinese ports opened to European traders, dogs were among the commodities offered. The Dutch East India Company probably brought the Pug to Holland, and from there the breed went to England.
When William III landed in England in 1688 to assume the throne, he had several Pug Dogs with him that sported orange ribbons, symbol of Holland's House of Orange. The British took these spunky little dogs into their hearts; about 100 years later, they were favorites of Queen Victoria and of France's Josephine. The English Queen ended the practice of ear cropping for Pugs when she called a halt to the practice for all breeds in the country. Ear cropping remains against the law in England.
Today's Pug
The British called the first Pugs in their country ';Dutch Mastiffs,'; undoubtedly a compliment to the substantial little dogs. The standard for the breed describes the dog as multum in parvo--';much in a small package';--a sturdy, compact, muscular, well-balanced dog weighing about 14-18 pounds. Plump Pugs are as undesirable as thin ones.
The head and tail are the breed's most distinctive features. The Pug has a muzzle that is foreshortened but not laid back as in the Bulldog or Brussels Griffon. The roguish face is marvelously wrinkled, giving the dog an expression of great wisdom or great sorrow. The skull is flat between the ears and looks square from the front; the jaw cannot be weak or pinched, as it will spoil the Pug look. The ears are folded over; the tips brush the sides of the face.
The tail is tightly curled over the hip.
The Pug's skin is loose, but without wrinkle except on the head. He has a short, double coat with a fine undercoat and fine glossy outer coat. The colors are black, silver fawn, and apricot fawn. The silver fawn is a clear fawn or grayish silver; apricot fawn ranges from cream to deep apricot. Both have a black mask, black ears, and a fine black line (trace) from the back of the skull (occiput) to the tail. A black diamond on the forehead or black mole mark on the cheek is permissible, but muddy color is not. Such blurring of colors may be caused by breeding black Pugs to fawn-colored Pugs, a match never done by responsible breeders.
The Pug should be a picture of strength with hard muscles, straight legs and topline, and purposeful gait with a slight roll.
The Pug has a stable, even temperament and a playful, outgoing disposition. He is a favorite with children and with adults who have no children. He is a low activity, low maintenance dog, well-suited for apartment or condominium life. Emperors of China's various dynasties from the Shang Dynasty 3000 years ago bred a variety of small dogs as companions. These dogs shared in the special attention accorded their courtly masters; they had their own attendants and rode in specially built carriages.
Apart from a stretch from 1368-1644 when cat breeding was the rage, the small dogs were favorites. By the end of the 17th Century, breeders produced ';sleeve dogs,'; dwarf specimens small enough to hitch a ride in the huge sleeves of royal garments. By this time, the Pug was distinctly different from the Pekingese and the Lion Dog. As Chinese ports opened to European traders, dogs were among the commodities offered. The Dutch East India Company probably brought the Pug to Holland, and from there the breed went to England.
When William III landed in England in 1688 to assume the throne, he had several Pug Dogs with him that sported orange ribbons, symbol of Holland's House of Orange. The British took these spunky little dogs into their hearts; about 100 years later, they were favorites of Queen Victoria and of France's Josephine. The English Queen ended the practice of ear cropping for Pugs when she called a halt to the practice for all breeds in the country. Ear cropping remains against the law in England.
Today's Pug
The British called the first Pugs in their country ';Dutch Mastiffs,'; undoubtedly a compliment to the substantial little dogs. The standard for the breed describes the dog as multum in parvo--';much in a small package';--a sturdy, compact, muscular, well-balanced dog weighing about 14-18 pounds. Plump Pugs are as undesirable as thin ones.
The head and tail are the breed's most distinctive features. The Pug has a muzzle that is foreshortened but not laid back as in the Bulldog or Brussels Griffon. The roguish face is marvelously wrinkled, giving the dog an expression of great wisdom or great sorrow. The skull is flat between the ears and looks square from the front; the jaw cannot be weak or pinched, as it will spoil the Pug look. The ears are folded over; the tips brush the sides of the face.
The tail is tightly curled over the hip.
The Pug's skin is loose, but without wrinkle except on the head. He has a short, double coat with a fine undercoat and fine glossy outer coat. The colors are black, silver fawn, and apricot fawn. The silver fawn is a clear fawn or grayish silver; apricot fawn ranges from cream to deep apricot. Both have a black mask, black ears, and a fine black line (trace) from the back of the skull (occiput) to the tail. A black diamond on the forehead or black mole mark on the cheek is permissible, but muddy color is not. Such blurring of colors may be caused by breeding black Pugs to fawn-colored Pugs, a match never done by responsible breeders.
The Pug should be a picture of strength with hard muscles, straight legs and topline, and purposeful gait with a slight roll.

I paid 拢1100 for my pug, and if you want a healthy dog, you should be looking at the same......as this included genetic screening of both my dogs parents for common pug defects.
Dont go to the newspapers, the best breeders never advertise, they dont need to. If you want a cheaper dog, get a mongrel, they wont suffer from the awfull things in-breeding does to a badly bred dog.Anyone got a pug for sale UK?

Don't just buy a puppy off of the internet. You want to see the parents to see what your puppy will look like and see the temperment he/she will get. If you purchase from out of state the puppy will most likely be shipped to you. Don't put a puppy through that. I suggest you go to www.pugs.org and look up a local breeder there. You can also check your local paper. Whatever you do, do not have a puppy shipped and do not go to a pet store. At the pet store the puppies are shipped in also and they don't have much human contact. They know only the cage that they spent most of their life in. First of all you can check with Franklin County Animal Shelter. They are WONDERFUL. It's a very progressive shelter and they have great dogs. If they don't have any Pugs, they may get some in. They work very very hard to rehome every dog that comes in.

First of all you can check with Franklin County Animal Shelter. They are WONDERFUL. It's a very progressive shelter and they have great dogs. If they don't have any Pugs, they may get some in. They work very very hard to rehome every dog that comes in.
There is an Ohio Pug rescue. You can find them on Petfinder.
Just search and limit using your zip code.

I was wondering if anyone has a pug for sale in Oklahoma. Around $200-$350.I like them to be from 7 weeks to 9 weeks, flat nose, and fawn. Let me know who to call and where they are. ThanksPugs for sale?
