I want to find some one that can help me tern my art into posters for sale and profit?

i am an animal illustrator of native reptiles and birds of Australia i have represented Australia in the UN poster contests and i have designed for the tattoo understory my work is in the us and other countries but like all artists there is no way to make a living out of it unless you knock out crap but i take pride in my work and it tacks up to 6monthes for a good painting to be created and sumtimes 12mons people in sydney think some of my work are photos not paintings i just do not no how to start or no anyone to day that no who to aproch to startI want to find some one that can help me tern my art into posters for sale and profit?
Having lithographs and serigraphs made of your best works is an excellent solution. You must find a lithographer who specializes in FINE ART lithographs. There is a difference, and you must pay for the true professional work. They have the same pride in reproducing your work and you do in originally creating it.


A lithograph reproduces 75 colors, and a serigraph does much more. Neither is an original.


If there are art shows in your area, take a display of several originals, and the lithographs of each of them, and a few others (warning: this is going to cost you a lot!) to the show. You will start building your reputation, and an income as well. In the meantime, if you really are good, look for some commercial sources that use that kind of thing to sell your work to, as well.


Do only limited editions, and personally sign and # them. Make too many, and the value goes down, make too few, and you don't make enough money. Talk to galleries for help with promotion, too. Find one that does work like yours, and they can really help you get off the ground.
